FAQs

Will Edenbrooke be made into a movie? If so, can I be a part of it?

I hope someday my books have a chance to be made into movies. But I’m not currently pursuing this dream. I’m kind of hoping that someday I can get the BBC to do it! (Dreaming big, I know.) If that never happens, I’m happy to leave it as a book. It’s so nice to be able to picture the characters and scenes the way you imagine them yourself, isn’t it? And honestly aren’t most books better than the movie?

How can I find the book Lost in Scotland?

Lost in Scotland only exists in my imagination at this point. Although I had planned on publishing this story, and my publisher released a cover for it, I never finished it due to some personal and legal reasons. So although you might see a cover online, it doesn’t exist as a published book.

What does the ending of Blackmoore mean? Where are Henry and Kate headed in the final scene?

I was happy to leave the ending of Blackmoore up to my readers’ imaginations. I liked the idea of the reader being free to choose the happy ending they thought would be best for Henry and Kate. But I have happily been given a chance to write an addition to Blackmoore, which will be released in the collector’s edition, coming Fall 2025. In that addition, all your burning questions will (hopefully) be answered.

Why haven’t you written a novel in so long? Are you still writing?

I’ve been so busy raising my 5 children, I haven’t had time to write novels. But I am still writing and plan to publish again soon.

I’ve heard about your Regency events. How can I find out more about them?

My Regency events are the most fun thing I’ve done in ages! You can find out more about them at www.regencyretreat.com.

How can I get a signed book from you?

You can find signed copies of my books at my local indie bookstore, The Kings English.
